You’re here because there’s a part of you that believes that life doesn’t need to be this hard…and that part of you is right.

It might be every day or at the beginning of each week that you tell yourself:

Today is a new beginning, I’ll do things differently from here onwards. I’ll:

  • Exercise more
  • Be less grumpy with my kids
  • Be more organised
  • Stop arguing with my partner
  • Eat healthier
  • [fill in whatever your story is for you]

…but by the end of the day things look
and feel very much the same…

add in some disappointment for not having stuck to your good intentions.

Each day becomes harder and harder until everything feels
so messy, difficult, and overwhelming that
even the “good intentions” fall away.

Sounds familiar (or a version of this)?

Likelihood is that you’ve been navigating life the best way you know how and perhaps the strategies and tools you’ve been using have stopped working and/or are resulting in hurtful consequences for you.

Rest assured; this does NOT mean:

  • You’re a failure
  • There’s something wrong with you
  • You’re to blame
  • You’re unlovable
  • There’s no hope

What it suggests is you need some new strategies and resources to navigate the demands of your life.

I’m here to help you!

The way you make sense of the world is shaped by your life experiences.

If you’ve been hurt in the past, you will want to protect yourself from any further pain in the future. And that is fair enough because who wants to experience being hurt again? No one.

Protecting yourself can look differently for different people and perhaps some of these examples resonate:

  • Keeping “busy”
  • Negative self-talk
  • Using food to manage challenging emotions
  • Saying yes, when you mean no
  • Avoiding confrontation

…and the list goes on and on

Wanting to protect yourself from future hurt is 100% normal and you’re not alone. Unfortunately, it also comes at the cost of living a connected and full-filling life, which is likely why you’re here.

The good news is, it’s not all doom and gloom.

Together, we can:

Co-create a safe, trusting, and attuned space in which your experiences are met, seen, and held.

Explore resources & practices that support you to live your life from a place of connection rather than protection.

Find ways for you to move towards the loving relationship with yourself that you deserve.

Hey, I’m Alma

Integrative Somatic Therapist, cat & dog mama, early morning lover, movement enthusiast, and fellow human.

Like you, I’ve struggled with wanting to make changes in my life and creating plans for how I’d do it. My experience was that I’d be frustrated and blame myself because I’d find myself in a similar position by the end of the day or (if I was lucky) a few weeks down the track.

What I realised after (what felt like) the millionth time of having gone around the same circle, was that unless I created a loving relationship with myself, I’d continue to be stuck in the same dynamic.

My own journey of learning to love myself and creating lasting changes in my life continues to influence my work with clients and has been the inspiration for the 6 principles that my work rests on, which I call The Loving Pathway.

Completely transformational

My work with Alma has been integral to my healing journey. I have felt completely safe, supported, seen and heard. It is a truly unique way of working that has resonated deeply with me. The use of embodiment and working in the moment has been completely transformational. It is so organic, real, visceral and explorative. I cannot recommend her enough. She shares the experience with you and is there every step of the way.

A better version of myself

I will keep it short but Alma has really helped me in a lot of different areas to grow and become a better version of myself which I think is always important.
